How many grants are available? 9 full-time students (some part-time grants may be available) What’s the catch? Students who accept these funds are expected to work 2 years for each year of scholarship support in the State/Federal Vocational Rehabilitation system upon graduation (does not need to be in Georgia) How is the course of study different from the rehabilitation counselor training that is not financially supported? Not much. All of the classes are the same. However, scholarship recipients will be expected to participate in coordinated field, practicum, and internship experiences within state Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies, and will work closely with VR mentors in student courses and activities.
